What do you do for a living? What is your side hustle?
I’ve recently turned my “side hustle” into my full-time gig! By day, I teach yoga and am a holistic health and wellness coach to private clients. By night, I write a blog that covers everything from wellness tips and recipes to travel guides and lifestyle posts.
What does self-care mean to you?
To me, self-care is knowing what I need to do to make myself happy and healthy on a consistent basis, regardless of circumstances. Most days that means I make myself a big green smoothie, tackle my to-do list and ensure that I get myself into a yoga class, but other days that means I stay in my pjs all day, read a big pile of magazines, and go to bed at 9pm.
What are your favorite beauty/fashion/lifestyle products that help you wind down at the end of a busy day?
I have a pretty consistent nighttime routine that I swear by and it consists of my Slip silk eye mask, Natural Calm Magnesium powder for the greatest sleep ever, LilyAna Organic Retinol cream to fight sunspots and wrinkles, and a good set of pajamas (my favorite place to buy them is ASOS).
What does your ideal night in look like?
My ideal night in usually starts by preparing a big, healthy meal with my husband (usually a veggie curry or big salad of some sort), binge-watching the latest episodes of Chef’s Table, scrolling through Pinterest, and sipping on either a homemade kombucha cocktail or glass of rose.
What book is on your nightstand right now?
I can’t get enough of Chasing Slow by Erin Lochner. It’s such a beautifully written guide to the importance of slowing down, simplifying and enjoying life.
